Knight Online Rules Of Conduct

THE FOLLOWING ARE THE BASIC RULES OF CONDUCT THAT GOVERN PLAYER INTERACTION AND ACTIVITY WITHIN KNIGHT ONLINE AND IN THE OFFICIAL KNIGHT ONLINE FORUMS. FAILURE TO ACT RESPONSIBLY AND COMPLY WITH THESE RULES WITHIN KNIGHT ONLINE AND IN THE OFFICIAL KNIGHT ONLINE FORUMS (forums.knight-online.com.my) MAY RESULT IN THE ACTION BEING TAKEN AGAINST YOUR ACCOUNT, WHICH MAY INCLUDE TERMINATION OF YOUR ACCOUNT WITHOUT ANY REFUND OF ANY KIND.

THE RULES ARE:

1. While playing Knight Online, you must respect the rights of others and their rights to play and enjoy the game. To this end, you may not defraud, harass, threaten, or cause distress and/or unwanted attention to other players.

2. You may not post or communicate any player's real world information (name, address, account name, etc.) through the Knight Online game or on the official Knight Online Web site.(www.knight-online.com.my)

3. You may not use any sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive language.

4. When communicating in Knight Online using Public Chat (Chat that can be viewed by more than 2 persons), you may not spam, flood, or make duplicate posts.

5. You may not post or link to any sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive imagery or content.

6. You may not impersonate any Knight-Online.com.my Employee , past or present, including any Customer Support personnel.

7. You may not violate any local, state, national or international law or regulation.

8. You may not modify any part of the Knight Online Client, Server or any part of the official Knight Online Web Page located at http://www.knight-online.com.my/

9. You may not arrange for the exchange or transfer of any pirated or illegal software while on Knight Online Game or on the official Knight Online Web site.

10. You may not market, promote, advertise, or solicit within the Knight Online game or on the official Knight Online Web site.

11. You may not advertise the intent to or commit the act of buying, selling, trading, sharing, or transferring access to any Knight-Online.com.my account.

12. You will follow the instructions of authorized personnel while in Knight Online or on the Official Knight Online Forums. (forums.knight-online.com.my)

13. You may not organize nor be a member of any guilds or groups within Knight Online that are based on, or espouse, any racist, sexist, anti-religious, anti-ethnic, anti-gay, or other hate-mongering philosophies.

14. You may not give false information or intentionally hide any information when registering for your Knight-Online.com.my account.

15. You will not upload or transmit on Knight Online or on the Knight Online Web Site any copyrighted content that you do not own all rights to, unless you have the express written permission of the author or copyright holder.

16. You will not attempt to interfere with, hack into, or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running Knight Online.

17. You will not exploit any bug in Knight Online and you will not communicate the existence of any such exploitable bug (bugs that grant the user unnatural or unintended benefits in game), either directly or through public posting, to any other user of Knight Online. You will promptly report any such bug via the in-game Support command or via the Feedback page located at
http:/www.knight-online.com.my/webcsform.asp

18. You will not increase your Nation Points in an unnatural manner that is to repeatedly player-kill a character of the opposing nation in the Colony Zone or Lunar gate. This issue is considered as an exploit.

If you try to earn national points by repeatedly killing a single character that belongs to your other account or your friend's account, you will be considered as an abuser.

19. You may not advertise the intent to or commit the act of buying or selling items for cash (Real world cash / money / currency)

20. You are not allow to use Third Party Programs while playing Knight Online.

21. For offenses regarding rules 2, 3, or 4, a Game Master will mute the character (remove chat privileges) as soon as it is discovered for an indefinite period. You may be notified of this penalty either in-game or by e-mail. Depending on the nature of the interference, the account may also be subject to disciplinary action including suspension or banning. A Game Master or Customer Service Employee will contact you to inform you if disciplinary action is taken.

22. For offenses regarding rule 16, a Game Master will suspend the character for further investigation as soon as it is discovered for an indefinite period. You may be notified of this suspension either in-game or by email. Depending on the nature of the interference, the account may also be subject to disciplinary action including suspension or banning. A Game Master or Customer Service Employee will contact you to inform you if disciplinary action is taken.

23. For offenses regarding rule 18, the guilty character Nation Points will be set to 0 at the first offense. If the character is caught for a repeated offense, the account may be suspended at the sole discretion of a Game Master. Depending on the weight of the offense, the account may also be subject to disciplinary action including suspension or banning. A Game Master or Customer Service Employee will contact you to inform you if disciplinary action is taken.

24. For offenses regarding other rules within this document, Game Master will personally advise the player, and / or suspend the character for further investigation as soon as it is discovered for an indefinite period. You may be notified of this suspension either in-game or by email. Depending on the nature of the interference, the account may also be subject to disciplinary action including suspension or banning. A Game Master or Customer Service Employee will contact you to inform you if disciplinary action is taken.

Conditions for suspension:
Characters are generally not suspended unless they violate the Rules of Conduct.
